कश्मीर में अनुच्छेद 370 हटने के बाद हालात धीरे धीरे सामान्य हो रहे है। कश्मीर घाटी में बुधवार को लगातार 25 वें दिन आम जीवन सामान्य रहे। शहर में निजी वाहनों की आवाजाही में सुधार हुआ है। घाटी के ज्यादातर थाना क्षेत्रों से लोगों के आवाजाही पर लगी रोक भी अब हटा ली गई है। हालांकि कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए सुरक्षा बलों की तैनाती जारी है । कश्मीर में ज्यादातर स्थानों पर लैंडलाइन टेलीफोन सेवाएं बहाल की जा चुकी हैं  । गुरुवार को स्थिति शांतिपूर्ण रही और घाटी में कहीं से भी किसी अप्रिय घटना की खबर नहीं है। विदेश मंत्रालय का कहना है कि जल्द से जल्द हालात सामान्य बनाने की कोशिशें जारी हैं।

श्रीनगर में सडकों पर आवाजाही सामान्य है और लोग सामान्य जन जीवन जी रहे हैं। रेहड़ी पटरी वाले भी अपना काम-धंधा करते दिखाई दिये। घाटी में खाद्यान्न और दूसरी जरुरी चीजें पर्याप्त मात्रा में उपलब्ध हैं। 

श्रीनगर के अस्पतालों में हालात सामान्य हैं और मरीजों को हर सुविधाएं मिल रही हैं। महिला अस्पतालों में भी मरीजों के इलाज और प्रसव सामान्य रुप से कराए जा रहे हैं।

बात कश्मीर के अनय हिस्सों की करें तो कुपवाडा में भी जनजीवन सामान्य है। बाज़ारों में रौनक लौट रही ही। लोग रोज़मर्रा की चीज़ों को खरीदने के लिए बाज़ारों का रुख कर रहे हैं। कुपवाडा में भी फोन लाइन शुरु होने से लोगों को काफी राहत है ।  लोग अपने नजदीकियों से फोन पर संपर्क आसानी से कर पा रहे हैं। 

कुल मिलाकर प्रशासन की कोशिश न केवल आम लोगों को सुविधाएं पहुंचाना है बल्कि वो विकास के तमाम कामों के जरिए भी लोगों की मुश्किलें कम करने की कोशिश में जुटा है।
